Went to Farmer's Market
1 lb ground beef, 2 lb flat iron steaks, 1 lb skirt steak, 4 lb pork fat (going to try and render lard, if not make the most delicious potpourri), 3.4 lb chicken, 1 butternut squash.

Came home noticed I had a missed call and a voicemail, was Vera (Rabbit lady) inviting me to some function the UCD Plant Chemistry department throws every fall, she was entering some chili in a cook-off. I went to go check it out, finished off a lot of the chili bowl scraps, then helped myself to one of the burgers. All the food was bland, but I made an ass out of myself because it was all free.
Getting ready to leave I saw Vera, and she said she was glad I could make it, then we proceeded to fill canvas bags full of free butternut squash, I picked out at least 20, should hold me awhile. :)
