Deception

I feel deceived.

Today I learned I've been braking inefficiently for the past several months. MSF drilled us to use both brakes equally at all times to help us with emergency stops but as I grew more comfortable with the bike I began to primarily rely on the rear brake. Come to find out everyone I ride with uses strictly the front brake 85% of the time and rear breaking is "more trouble than it's worth".

Then I come home and check the mail, the Zebra Sharbo X LT3 I ordered had arrived. Open the package the gray looks nothing like that advertised by JetPens. It's far less masculine and more of a casual gray. A gray-gray, the kind of gray you envision when someone says gray. Not an anthracite, gunmetal, alternative to black sort of gray.
