The offal of daily attrition: prime cuts, odds & ends

26.5.10

The Inka pen arrived today.
I have some concerns about the design.
The pen's crucial components (ink reservoir and grip body) are joined to the body extension (key ring storage) by a rubber o-ring. Photo
I've been dangling it by this body with the full weight of my keys pulling on the other end, it doesn't currently slip but I could see under repeated usage it will become loose. It writes, but had one stoppage out of the box. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence, so let's hope it works out okay as an emergency/EDC pen.
